How to Change the Time of Your Subscriptions Bill

The Subscription Rules settings in your store control when subscriptions are billed each day. You can either use a billing time based on each customer's first purchase or set a specific hour for all subscriptions in the store.

Set the subscription billing time​

To update the billing time, edit the store from the Stores list.

  1. In the Phoenix dashboard, go to Stores in the left navigation.

  2. Find the store you want to update and click the edit icon.

  3. Select the Subscription Rules tab.

  4. In the Select when subscriptions for a day run dropdown, select your preferred option:

    • All day: Phoenix bills subscriptions at an approximate time based on the customer's first purchase.

    • Specific time: Phoenix bills subscriptions at a fixed hour. When selected, a Billing Hour (Eastern Time) field appears. Select the hour you want charges to run.

  1. Click Continue to move through the remaining tabs.

  2. On the final tab, click Update Storefront to apply your changes.
